OMAHA, Neb. – Nebraska Junior Golf concluded its 2026 9-Hole Tour season on Friday, July 24, with the NJG 9-Hole Tour Championship at The Field Club of Omaha. The championship brought together the top players from across the state to compete for Tour Championship titles in six age divisions, celebrating another successful summer of junior golf.
Players were challenged by one of Nebraska's most historic golf courses, with several divisions producing tightly contested finishes and impressive scores.
The Boys 12–13 Developmental division featured a strong performance from Carter Scheel of Lincoln, who claimed the Tour Championship with a 1-under-par 35. Hyuma Friesen of Lincoln finished second with a 38, while Greyson Rische of Crete, Dalton Woodis of Kearney, and Caden Guynan of Bennington shared third place at 39.
In the Girls 12–13 division, Camryn Bernt of Omaha and Jessica Christiansen of Kearney tied after each carded an outstanding 4-over-par 40. Jessica won a 2-hole playoff to capture the title. Colette Storm of Omaha and Perrey Hernon of Elkhorn tied for third with rounds of 41, while Grace Hyten of Lincoln rounded out the top five with a 43.
Blair's Brody Deutschman earned the Boys 9–11 championship after firing an impressive 3-under-par 33. Jett Krueger of Firth finished runner-up with a 35, followed by Harvey Sautter of York with a 36. Carter Clure of Elkhorn and Braxton Rozeboom of Gretna tied for fourth at 37.
In the Girls 9–11 division, Addison Collins of Leigh captured the championship with a 46. Andi Austin of Fairbury placed second with a 50, while Merelise Champ of Fremont finished third with a 54.
Lincoln's Ben Bryson claimed the Boys 7–8 championship with a round of 37, finishing ahead of Thatcher Sautter of York (40) and Beck Randall of Lincoln (41).
The Girls 7–8 division was won by Kinzley Lynch of St. Paul, who posted a 51 to earn the Tour Championship. Ricki Champ of Fremont finished second with a 62, while Samaira Porterville of Lincoln placed third with a 68.
The 2026 NJG 9-Hole Tour Championship marked the conclusion of another successful season for Nebraska Junior Golf's developmental tour. Throughout the summer, young golfers from across Nebraska gained valuable competitive experience while developing their skills, sportsmanship, and love for the game.
Nebraska Junior Golf extends its appreciation to The Field Club of Omaha for hosting the Tour Championship, as well as the many volunteers, parents, coaches, sponsors, and host facilities whose support made the 2026 season possible.
