The Fall Junior Series gives high school golfers the opportunity to build their golfing resume by competing as part of a team and also as an individual in a series of three 18-hole competitions during the fall.

Teams - Junior players compete in teams of three (3) players, counting their two lowest scores after completion of play for each event (similar to how high school events are conducted). In the events, juniors will play in threesomes made up of players from different teams. The top team receives a medal at each tournament. Typically, a team consists of the same 3 boys each event, but in the case that someone can't play in an event, a team can be made up of any combination of the same 4 boys during the series. Players are to come up with a creative team name for the series. In addition to the team race, representatives of teams competing in an event are also placed in the individual competition against all other participants. The top 10 individual scores at each event will receive recognition.

Individuals - Players not representing teams may also compete as individuals in Boys Fall Junior Series events. A limited number of spots will be held at each event for individual golfers. The top 10 individual scores at each tournament will receive recognition. In addition to individual registrants, team participants are also eligible for individual recognition.

Each event is limited to 60 golfers (15 teams and 15 individuals) and the entry fee for each competition is $50 per player. Event registration opens August 19th at 9am.
**NOTE: Due to high demand, the new overall field size is 96 players. We are allowing more teams in at this time. If there are any individuals on the waitlist at the deadline (7 days before the event) and the overall limit of 96 has not been met, individuals will be let into the event until the overall field limit is met.

A list of participants and pairings is sent to area college golf coaches prior to each tournament. Following the event the same is done with the results.

Each event in the Fall Junior Series is awarded NGA Junior Point Standings points. In addition, separate Fall Junior Series point standings are established to track both the individual and team race. Post season recognition is given to the top five individual point finishers, also known as the FJS All-Star Team. The top overall team at the completion of the series is also recognized and presented with a special prize. The overall points race will be based on an individual or team's top three finishes. The Fall Junior Series points race is separate from the summer NJG Tour season long points race.

Each competition will be limited to 15 teams and 15 individuals, a total of 60 players. Any three eligible juniors may enter as a team. Team entries are accepted by order of entry. Additional teams will be accepted if individual spots are not filled. Individual entries are accepted by order of entry. Additional individuals will be accepted if the team spots are not filled. When registering as part of a team, it is best if one teammate looks up and enters all three members at once so they are entered at the same time and their spots are confirmed. Teams are limited to any combination of the same four participants throughout the series to be eligible for the FJS Team Point Standings.

Amateur Status: All players must conform with the Rules of Amateur Status as specified in The Rules of Golf.
