We are pleased to announce that the 2026 NJG schedule has been released and is updated on the NJG website.
We are very excited for the upcoming Nebraska Junior Golf season, which will continue to provide an ample amount of playing opportunities with a couple new wrinkles! A brief summary for key/new things to come this season is below.
- NJG Membership will be $185 for the season (Opens February 27th)
- Reminder: Youth on Course membership included within the NJG Membership
- If a YOC membership was purchased before a NJG Membership, you will be reimbursed for one of the YOC memberships

- NJG Spring Junior Series
- Available for NJG Girls in 9th grade or higher (or current 8th graders who will be in 9th grade in the current calendar year)
- 3 individual/team stroke play events offered throughout April & May
- Chance to compete on a team or as an individual
- UNL PGM will be awarding a $500 CASNR Scholarship to the top 30 individual players on the series points list

- Boys 12-13 Developmental (This division is meant to serve as a developmental opportunity. We strongly encourage and ask players who are more experienced and capable of playing 18-holes without a caddie to compete in the 18-hole Boys 12-13 division).

- The Hidden Valley GC regular tour event on July 9th will be a part of the 2026 Cornhusker State Games.
- This event will still be administered by the NJG staff with the assistance of CSG staff/volunteers.

- Kearney Junior Classic (Kearney CC & Meadowlark Hills GC)
- Central Nebraska Junior Amateur (Lochland CC & Riverside GC)

- Nationally ranked events
- Worth 1.5x the points as regular tour events (CNJA is worth 3x the points)
- Qualify for the NGA Points List
- NEW in 2026 --> For 18-hole 2-day events ONLY: For the first 48 hours, registration is limited to Boys with a current handicap index of 5.0 or lower and Girls with a current handicap index of 15.0 or lower. After 48 hours, handicap restrictions will be removed and all players will be eligible to register.

- NJG 308 Junior Open
- July 14th at Lake Maloney GC in North Platte, NE
- Players MUST currently reside within the 308 area code to be eligible
- Open to both NJG Members AND Non-Members
- Open to all age divisions
- NJG Members will still receive season points from their member flight
- NJG SUMMIT Series Events
- Three 1-Day events offered
- Three 2-Day events offered (Nationally ranked)
- NEW for 2026 --> Woodland Hills/Crooked Creek 2-day event
- For Boys 14-15, 16+ divisions and Girls 14-15, 16+ divisions
- 1-Day events worth 2x the points as regular tour events
- 2-Day events worth 2.5x the points as regular tour events
- Highlighting the top 3 overall boys 14+ and girls 14+ in the events with an award
- Season points will still be awarded based on each division's event leaderboard
- Must have a certain current handicap index to be eligible to register
- Girls: 22.0 or lower
- Boys: 12.0 or lower
- Qualify for the NGA Points List
- NEW for 2026 --> 13U Jr. PGA Championship
- Will now be merged with the NJG Tour Jim Ager event on June 26th
- All divisions 13U will compete in the Jr. PGA Championship and the NJG Tour regular event simultaneously, but will be competing for the Jr. PGA Championship awards. NJG Tour season points will still be awarded to each NJG age division.
- NJG Summer Points Race presented by Mizuno
- Players have a chance to be invited to the NJG Tour Championship at the end of the season based on how many points they earn in the events they compete in during the summer.

- NJG Fall Junior Series
- Available for NJG High School Boys (or girls who play NSAA high school golf in the spring during the boys season)
- 3 individual/team stroke play events offered throughout September & October
- Chance to compete on a team or as an individual
- Players must have a current handicap index of 12.0 or lower to be eligible
- UNL PGM will be awarding a $500 CASNR Scholarship to the top 30 individual players on the series points list
- Qualify for the NGA Points List

- 12U event at Jim Ager GC in Lincoln (9-holes) - May 16th
- 13+ event at Highlands GC in Lincoln (18-holes) - August 9th
- Junior player must be a current NJG Member
- 2-person scramble format
- All Male, All Female & Mixed Divisions
- Not a part of any NJG Points Race

- Reminder of Late Entry Policy
- Late entry requests after the event deadline will be considered based on set parameters established by NJG with absolutely no guarantee of acceptance. Any accepted late entries will be charged a late fee of $15.
